MASTICATOR (SWEDEN)

Formed from the ashes of other death and thrash metal bands from the Uddevalla / Ljungskile scene 1988-1989 like Crusaders of Death, Eternal Pain, Phobos and Exploders. Masticator made their last live gig in 1991 with At The Gates, Dissection and Desecrator. Under a short period of time Masticator changed name to Blasfemia (later a side project). In the end of 1991 the band changed name to Neurotic and recorded one demo (never released). During the Masticator period several other side projects and bands were joined/started like Bishops of Gore, Desiderious, Goat Sacrifice, Sadistic Sodomizer, Grave Desecrator... One of them, Desiderious (later changed name to Runemagick) was started by Robert and Nicklas and the rest is history
