HARDWARE (MEXICO)

Born in 1991 in Guadalajara, Jal. Mexico, The members came from bands like BRUTAL, DRAKSEN, EXTINCION CEREBRAL, PENTAGRAM and APOSTOL DEAD. " The original line up was "Juan Carlos Guerrero(vocals), Luis Ahumada (guitar/keyboards), Ernesto Catalan( drums), Jorge Ruiz (guitar), Rodolfo Cuevas(bass) and Manuel Reveles(drums). The music was very unique, a combination of death metal, grindcore, industrial, pre-hispanic instruments and the use of keyboards without sounding melodic or gothic. The keyboards gave the music some kind of eerie feeling. In 1991 the band released their first demo "cyber death" which sounded very decent for a demo back in the day. Thanks to the tape trading network back in the early 90's, it gave the band the chance to spread their music all over Mexico and many countries around the world. They played shows all over Mexico. In 1992 the band released their 7' ep "souls vortex", four new songs in the same vein as the demo "cyber death". The 7" ep was released by the label Insmouth Records
