GORGUTS (CANADA)

Highly regarded and innovative Jazz flavored Death Metal act GORGUTS was founded in Québec during 1989. In 1990 the band released a pro-demo called '...And Then Comes Lividity', which caught the attention of some record companies and they were soon signed to Roadrunner Records. The group at this stage comprised vocalist / guitarist Luc Lemay, bassist Eric Giguere, drummer Stephane Provencher with Gary Chouinard on second guitar. They released their debut; 1991's Scott Burns produced 'Considered Dead', recorded at Morrisound Studios, in Tampa, Florida.
