EXPERIMENT (USA/IL)

Guitarist Mark Piotrowski had just finished a side project (Deviation) with the remaining Devastation members. Guitarist-Vocalist Mike Schaefer was also involved in a separate project (NecroVomit) with Pat and Frank of Devastation. Both were introduced to each other and Experiment began in the Spring of 1988. After 2 years of trying out musicians Experiment became complete with the additions of Drummer Aaron Nickeas and Bassist John Almonte (Interment). To generate a stronger underground following, the band recorded "The Edge of Within" demo at Solid Sound Recording in Hoffman Estates with John Towner in June of 1991. Played out, had fun, lost Aaron to Paul Speckmann (Master,Deathstrike), got Dave Chirella from Funeral Nation, played out more, and then fell apart in the Summer of 1993.
