EVOL (ITALY)


EVOL, named after the black principle of existence and founded in 1993 by vocalist and keyboard player Prince Of Agony (Giordano Bruno). The band was formulated in Padova with the addition of Samael von Martin ('The Lord of Sorrow') and Suspiria ('The Princess of Disease'). In that first year of operation EVOL released the demo tape 'The Tale Of The Horned King', following it in 1994 with a second session 'The Dark Dreamquest Part I' distributed on the tape trading underground by Maggot Productions. The band signed to the Adipocere label for the 1995 album 'The Saga of the Horned King'. In 2001, a re-release of the two demos was also done on CD.
