BRAINDEAD (SWEDEN)

BRAINDEAD was one of the first death bands from Göteborg area after GROTESQUE. Their first demo was named "Guts" and was recorded and released in 1989 on this demo their style was a bit trash. The line up on the first tape was Peter Ekberg-Guitar,Vocals, Mattias Lindeblad-Bass,Markus Nordberg-Drums and Björn Mankner-Guitar. Sometimes in 1990 Björn was replaced by Jens Hörnsten-Guitar and their style was now pure death metal in June 1990 their second effort "Summon for the praise" was recorded. And this was the last effort as BRAINDEAD they changed name to BROKEN BONED and started to play rockn roll.
